- 7-Eleven is offering a $5 meal deal that includes two slices of pizza and a 20-ounce Coke or Sprite now through Jan. 7 at participating stores, the company said in late October.

Despite inflation cooling off, the lingering effects of the last couple years have left prices high and c-stores trying to entice shoppers with cheaper meals, increased fuel discounts and updated rewards programs.
Pizza has been a particular area of focus for 7-Eleven’s value options. The retailer also promoted a buy one, get one deals on whole pizzas for Halloween and offered $1 slices during the summer as part of its Slurpee Day promotion.
7-Eleven also noted during its investor day in October that it’s combining value deals with proprietary food and drink options, including fresh food like its pizzas as well as private label items, dispensed beverages and restaurants like Laredo Taco Company, as one of its pillars of growth.
7-Eleven also recently added a Philly cheesesteak pizza, which includes thin-sliced beef, provolone, bell peppers and caramelized onions.
The $5 meal LTO comes about a month after Circle K introduced three such deals — priced at $3, $4 and $5 — that feature an entree, side and drink, while EG America debuted a fall-themed $5 value meal that includes a breakfast sandwich and a drink.
Irving, Texas-based 7-Eleven operates nearly 12,650 convenience stores in the U.S., along with nearly 2,000 in Mexico and about 600 in Canada.
