Ashukian will succeed Josh Charlesworth, who has been Krispy Kreme’s CFO since April 2017. Charlesworth will continue his position as global president and chief operating officer, according to a press release.
During Charlesworth’s time as CFO, the company returned to the public market in 2021. He moved to the global president and COO in June, according to his LinkedIn page.
Ashukian, who will start in his new position on Jan. 9, brings over 20 years of global executive finance experience from his tenure at Mars including various CFO roles in North America and Latin America at Mars, according to his LinkedIn profile. His other roles included finance director, demand planning, manufacturing finance and business planning, according to the press release. He also led M&A efforts for the company, including overseeing Mars’ acquisition of Kind in 2020.
