Dive Insight:
The partnership, which will be available at over 200 WeWork locations, will also support small businesses nearby, such as providing coworking members with local guides that encourage them to explore the local community and dining options with DoorDash.
“Our partnership with DoorDash for Work allows us to provide our members with high-quality experiences and benefits that can help them to do their best work and collaborate,” said Jeff Lesser, head of brand partnerships and events for U.S. and Canada at WeWork.
DoorDash for Work, which originally launched in 2020, enhanced its program in September by adding more benefits. DashPass for Work gives employees access to DashPass subscriptions for unlimited $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees for eligible orders from restaurants, grocers and convenience stores. Companies can also provide benefits like meal credits, gift cards and group ordering. Offices can also now sign up for DoorDash for Work via a self-service feature.
DoorDash for Work is available at more than 3,000 companies, including NewsCorp, Comcast, Carfax and the University of Southern California, and has seen usage grow by over 70% during the past year, the company said.
