Sizzler has a new CEO and the parent company of Papa Gino's and D'Angelo's has a new president, two moves that could dramatically impact the future of these companies.

May 21
MOD Pizza: Clayton, Dublier & Rice partners Ken Giuriceo and Paul Pressler have joined the company’s board, according to a press release. Pressler formerly worked as CEO of GAP.The two have joined the board after CD&R led $160 million in new equity financing.
May 22
New England Authentic Eats: The parent company to Papa Gino's and D'Angelo has promoted Tom Sterrett to president from his position of chief operating officer, according to Nation's Restaurant News. Deena McKinley has been named CMO. McKinley previously worked as chief experience officer at Mobivity.
Sizzler: Kerry Kramp has stepped down as CEO and exited the chain after 11 years with the casual dining chain, according to Nation's Restaurant News. Kevin Perkins part of the group that acquired the brand from private equity eight years ago, will replace him as chairman but a new CEO has yet to be named. Additionally, several executives have left the company as part of a reorganization. Chief strategy officer Dennis Scott; VP of risk management, leadership development and people support and culture Khaled Bagul; SVP of finance and analysis Steve McDermott; and director of food culture and corporate chef Tamra Scroggins have all left the company.
